https://www.sultanaexpress.com I am the Co-Founder and CEO of SultanaExpress, a B2B marketplace connecting verified Turkish manufacturers with European buyers. Coming from a background rooted in international trade and textile sourcing, I developed hands-on experience in cross-border commerce early on through importing ready-to-wear products from China and Vietnam. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Law, which has given me strong expertise in international trade, compliance, contracts, and business operations. Alongside my brother and co-founder, Léonard Loubès, who studied International Commerce, I built and managed international sourcing activities across multiple countries while adapting to major geopolitical and economic disruptions. During the COVID19 pandemic, we shifted our supplier network from Asia to Turkey, which gave us deep insight into the strengths of Turkish manufacturing and the inefficiencies of existing B2B trade channels. While participating in an Erasmus program in Estonia, I relocated our business internationally before later moving operations to Poland following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, all while continuing our commercial activities and supplier management. Through these experiences, I gained firsthand knowledge of the operational challenges businesses face when sourcing internationally: finding reliable suppliers, building trust between buyers and manufacturers, managing logistics, and securing cross-border transactions. After years in B2C commerce, I decided to transition toward B2B technology and trade infrastructure with the ambition of modernizing a sector in Turkey that remains highly fragmented and underserved digitally.
