The rules of a quieter network.
These terms cover how you and MeetWho agree to work together. They protect the people using the platform, keep the introductions honest, and keep the room worth being in.
Who we are
MeetWho is an event networking intelligence platform operated at meetwho.app. We recommend the people you should meet at an event, and remember who you met after it. We are not the organiser of the events you attend.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information about who you are and what you do.
- One person, one account. Don't impersonate someone else or misrepresent your role.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account — keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- You can close your account any time from Settings. See the Privacy page for what happens to your data.
What you can do on MeetWho
- Publish a public profile at meetwho.app/@username describing what you do, what you're looking for and what you can help with.
- Attend or host events, set event-specific intent, and receive recommendations for people worth meeting.
- Send a short request to meet, accept or decline requests, and — once connected — send direct messages.
- Save people, record encounters, keep private notes and set follow-up reminders in your Network.
What you can't do
The following behaviour breaks these terms and can result in a warning, suspension or permanent removal:
- Spamming, mass-messaging, or sending identical requests to lots of people.
- Scraping profiles, events, attendee lists, or exporting other people's data outside the tools MeetWho provides.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual harassment, or targeting people on the basis of who they are.
- Selling, transferring or sharing your account, or creating accounts to evade a block or suspension.
- Uploading unlawful, deceptive, or misleading content — including fake profiles, fake events, or misleading intent.
- Interfering with the platform: reverse-engineering, probing security, or overloading the service.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post — your profile, projects, event pages, notes and messages. You grant MeetWho a limited licence to store, display and process that content solely to run the service you're using: showing your profile to the people you allow, delivering messages, generating recommendations, and honouring your visibility settings.
You confirm you have the right to post anything you upload, including images and logos.
Events and organisers
If you host an event on MeetWho, you're responsible for the accuracy of its details, its lawful operation, and how you communicate with attendees. Attendees join events on the terms you publish. MeetWho provides tools; the event itself is yours.
Recommendations, not guarantees
MeetWho recommends people based on the information you and others share. Every recommendation comes with a written reason. We don't guarantee that any introduction will succeed, that anyone will accept your request, or that a meeting will lead to a specific outcome. Use judgment when meeting anyone online or in person.
Fees
MeetWho's core networking features are free during our current phase. If we introduce paid plans or organiser features, we'll show the price and terms clearly before you pay — no hidden upgrades, no dark patterns.
Suspension and termination
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, threatens other people, or puts the platform at risk — and we'll tell you why when we can. You can close your account at any time. Some obligations (accuracy of past content, indemnity, and limitations of liability) survive termination.
Third-party services
Some parts of MeetWho work through third parties — sign-in with Google or Apple, cloud infrastructure, calendar exports. Their own terms apply when you use them. We choose providers that meet our privacy and security bar.
Disclaimers and liability
MeetWho is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or damage arising from your interactions with other people you meet through the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes
We'll update these terms when the product changes in a material way. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and notify you in-product if the change affects you. Continuing to use MeetWho after that means you accept the new version.
